It is the first Russian state museum dedicated to contemporary art. Its distinctive features are modern cultural works of the 20th and 21st centuries. The Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) not only participates in exhibitions, but also carries out scientific and publishing activities, conducts restorations and events. MMOMA galleries are located at five sites in different districts of Moscow.
