Erected in honor of the victory in the war over Napoleon and in memory of those killed, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow is the largest temple of the Russian Orthodox Church. The Patriarch of Moscow and of all Russia performs divine services here. The Patriarchal pedestrian bridge is located next to the Temple. It offers a famous panorama of the Moscow River and the Kremlin wall.
